TrinIT Talent are looking for a Lead Technical Architect to come on board for a 6 month contract based on a hybrid model remotely and in London. This role falls inside of Scope of IR35 and is paying 600 per day.

Recent Experience

  • Experience as an enterprise architect/solutions architect in designing platforms, products, systems and components across multiple programmes and projects.
  • Direct experience of a range services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking and Azure Security.
  • Experience with complex large-scale data and analytics solutions including design of data life cycle capabilities is a must.
  • Experience of best practice solution architecture and general cross-tower and interdisciplinary understanding across data, security, and infrastructure
  • Experience in architecture planning for large initiatives/programmes, developing architecture blueprint, high level design and implementation of the following aspects of solution architecture: Services, Applications, Integration, Technology, Security and Data
  • A recognised expert and advisor in driving technology strategy and working across lines of business and shared platforms to ensure work is aligned to our enterprise vision and that business outcomes are achieved.
  • Experience of both planned and agile working practices and project management products and methodologies
  • Extensive exposure to artifact governance and signoff procedures
  • CITP or CEng or equivalent rounded IT experience
  • TOGAF or equivalent related business technology architect qualification
  • Membership of relevant architecture/IT professional associations (eg, BCS, IASA)
  • Current Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Areas of Responsibility

  • Leading Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture activities understanding business imperatives and developing solutions that deliver against the requirements aligned to business and technology strategies
  • Responsible for translating business strategic goals and objectives into supporting enterprise-wide technology strategies
  • Responsible for understanding the technology estate and strategic direction to develop architecture and roadmaps with a focus on re-use, rationalisation, simplification and decommissioning.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of the architecture, strategy and roadmaps of products and platforms
  • Responsible for ensuring architectural artefacts are governed and maintained through the appropriate review boards within Technology
  • Work with Solution and Domain architects to maintain technology roadmaps that align to the enterprise architecture principles, vision, and strategy.
  • Participate in the strategic governance of projects and programmes; including where necessary challenging decisions that compromise the architecture vision, provide clear advice and decisions to both colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Lead various aspects of the development of the Architecture practice, through communicating and encouraging wider feedback and collaboration in the evolution of the enterprise architecture vision, key principles, best practices, and reference architectures

  • Integration of technology solutions with the overall business strategy and enterprise target architecture strategy
  • Delivering technology solutions that adhere to industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, reducing legal and regulatory risks.
  • On-time delivery of technology solutions within budgetary constraints, ensuring that projects meet deadlines and financial expectations.
  • Integration of innovative technologies and approaches that contribute to the organisation's competitiveness and efficiency.
  • Identification and mitigation of potential risks associated with the technology solution, ensuring a more secure and reliable implementation.
