£500 -
£600 per day

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Head of SPD Legal, the Head of Capital Markets Legal, as well as other Capital Markets lawyers in the Legal department.
Drafting documentation relating to structured securities issuance under the bank’s EMTN, Certificates and Warrants Programmes.
Assistance with drafting secured and/or rated notes or other structured products issued or entered into by SPVs.
Derivatives advisory and transactional work including general structuring of complex derivatives transactions and providing support to bank-wide derivatives projects.
Provide general capital markets legal assistance, including with respect to Non-Disclosure Agreements and agency-related trade documentation.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities


Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Skills desired:

Capital markets experience in a financial services or law firm.
Experience structuring and negotiating structured EMTNs
Experience in derivatives generally
Notes experience (advantageous)
French speaker (not required but a bonus)
