Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and accompanying reports
- Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts
- Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
- Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
- Liaising with auditors and managing financial audits
- Assisting with budget preparation and management
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Excellent understanding of data privacy standards
- Knowledge of business strategy and methodology
- Ability to strategise and solve problems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
This role is 100% office based in the city centre of Glasgow
