Pay Rate: Up to £20.71/hr Ltd Umbrella. AWR increase applied after 12 weeks; rate will increase to £32.25/hr Ltd Umbrella

Contract Position based at: Dunton (hybrid working)

Position Description:

Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering (PTME) is a key contributing organisation within the business as we transition from our historical product line-up of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) only, to a strong Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrain offering. This position arises at an enthralling time as PTME Europe is at the forefront of the transformation of our manufacturing facilities across Europe from ICE to BEV. You would be a key member of our PTME family, helping us to modernise our business as we `Bring on Tomorrow' by manufacturing our new range of electrified powertrains for vehicles.

Your role within the team would involve you supporting several areas within the powertrain assembly team. We need you to share your transferable skills, knowledge, and experience within our team as you:

• Manage and plan transmission and engine components parts for multiple programs for assembly line equipment tryouts.
• Work the with stores team to manage try-out parts storage and shipping around the world to various machine tool suppliers.
• Support shipping and customs clearance processes.
• Manage documentation and work with all internal teams to understand part requirements.
• Manage finance systems and ensure funding is in place for all parts.
• Immerse yourself within our dynamic and flexible team as you contribute to the team as we work in a fast-changing environment.

Skills Required:

• Highly proficient in MS Office including MS Project and Excel.
• High level attention to detail, and methodical approach to documentation.
• Project management

Experience Required:

• Experience in material/part or logistics management.

Education Required:

• Bachelor Degree or extensive industry experience without Degree.
