MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - 35 PER HOUR - BOLTON - 12 MONTHS - MUST HAVE NVQ 3 & HNC/ONC - SINCE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client on an initial 12 month contract from their site in Bolton.
As a Manufacturing Engineer within the unit and missile assembly manufacturing facility, your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and budget-conscious construction of products. As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for various activities supporting multi-project manufacturing.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include:
- Compilation and update of Manufacturing Instructions.
- Design, commissioning, and proving of associated tooling.
- Support the industrial validation process using FMEAs, FAIs, etc.
- Resolution of technical problems during the manufacturing process.
- Implementation of route card changes resulting from rework activities.
- Management of Configuration Control by embodying Design Modifications into Manufacturing Instructions.
- Support to the Non-Conformance Process using SAP.
Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate must have:
- Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
- Formal further education certificate to HNC or an equivalent certificate.
- 5 years of experience within an engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret Design Drawings to produce Manufacturing Build Instructions for both Skilled and Semi-Skilled operators.
- Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacture through to System level builds.
- Experience and knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
- Ability to work within and contribute to a team environment.
- Recognition and understanding of customer requirements, with the ability to respond to them.
- Understanding and adherence to Company Processes and Procedures.
- Effective communication skills within the working group and at various levels of the organization.

- Manual handling training.
- ESD training.
