Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Pay rate: 31 p/h inside IR35.

IO Associates seeks an Manufacturing Engineer for the Stevenage site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities

• Provide Manufacturing Engineering support, collaborating with technicians, inspectors, team leaders, and KPOs as needed.
• Generate standard documentation, re-work instructions, and deviation plans aligned with project requirements.
• Lead quality reviews, Root Cause Analysis, and Lessons Learned exercises, owning PPSs for continuous improvement.
• Support R&D/R&T for process development, undertake process improvement, and ensure standardized, optimized ME processes.

Skills Required

• Proficient in 3DX Delmia and Delmia Apriso digital Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Skilled in creating Manufacturing Bill of Materials from Engineering Digital Definition.
• Competent in Mechanical & Electrical design, validation, and quality-driven approaches.
• Utilizes systems like Windchill, P6, IPS, 3D live, and 3D experience.
• Proficient in Lean manufacturing techniques with a Green belt certification.
• Willing to work overtime, occasional shifts, and support "on-call" rotations.
• Highly self-motivated with strong adaptability to changing priorities.
• Strong planning skills and process competence, with MRP/SAP system experience advantageous.
