We are working with a global organisation looking to bring an experienced Microsoft Cyber Security Engineer for a six-month contract.

The ideal candidate should have extensive technical proficiency in Azure, Office 365 Security, Sentinel, and Defender configuration, along with adept knowledge in Kquery and Exchange Online.

Key requirements:

• Scope and deploy large-scale global installations with a focus on seamless execution and minimal disruption.


• Design and implement security solutions in Azure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.


• Configure and uphold security settings in Office 365, prioritizing robust protective measures.


• Proficiently manage configurations for Sentinel and Defender to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.


• Employ Kquery for advanced data analysis and threat hunting in the Azure environment.


• Supervise Exchange Online operations to maintain a secure and efficient email communication system.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align activities with overarching security strategies.

Location: 1-2 days per week in their Central London office

Daily rate: 550 - 750 outside IR35
