My client is looking for a Network Automation Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with the scope for extension.

The role is hybrid with some expectation of going into the office 2/3 days a week in Central London.

Must haves:

• Proven experience in routing and switching with a strong foundation in Cisco networking technologies
• Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on automation
• Experience with Nexus Switches
• Hands-on experience with Python Scripting/Ansible Playbooks
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and creating/play booking network automation tasks

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Software Defined Networking
• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are a plus.
