Role: Network Engineer
Rate: 475 p/d working outside IR-35
Location: London with some travel to Datacentre based in Farnborough
Hybrid working, 3 days onsite, 2 remotely.
Length: 6 months rolling
Clearance: Active SC Clearnace & willing to go through DV

Essential:

• Juniper extensive hands-on experience, with Switches/Firewalls and Routers.
• Infrastructure security focused with experience in Palo Alto and Juniper
• Ability to design network solutions and implement and provide support after rollout.
• Good experience with Data Centre technologies. VCF/EVPN/MPLS
• Expertise in VXLANs, BGP, VRF, OSPF, VPN technologies and able to work with Remote hands.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Ability to prioritise, manage competing support, and project workloads.
• Experience working in a datacentre.
• Experience with Automation such as (Ansible, Itential)
• Good documentation skills

Desirable:

• Experience with F5 load balances, LTM/GTM
• Knowledge of MS Windows Server platforms
• Knowledge of VMWare platforms, NSX-V & NSX-T

Role:
This role will be 80% of project work and 20% of support work which will mostly be after project support to transfer the knowledge to the service team.
This role requires you to be on site for 3 days a week, it also requires you to travel to Data Centre in the south and rarely one of their service team offices in Scotland.
