We are seeking an experienced and proven Network Engineer with demonstrable experience of the following technical platforms and business skillsets.

This is a technical role and the key focus will be working with your colleagues on BAU and maintenance tasks, as well as supporting new project and programme work.

This is a great opportunity to be involved at the start of some major and exciting network implementation programmes within a proven Network and Telephony team, whilst using some of the best industry leading networking technologies and platform

Essential / Core Technology Vendor Knowledge:

• Aruba
• Juniper (edge and core switches plus firewalls)
• Palo Alto

Essential / Core Technical Skillsets:

• IPSec VPN creation
• eVPN WAN and LAN
• BGP, OSPF and other routing protocols
• IP address management
• Proven complex network problem troubleshooting skills
• Security, NAT and routing policies

Desirable (but not essential) Technical Knowledge:

• Voice / SIP
• Azure Cloud Computing

General Skillsets:

• Good communication skills written and verbal
• Strong written documentation skills
• Able to work within a small team
• Ability to manage call stack within a helpdesk system
• Good customer service skills
