Job Description: The Operational Readiness ORACLE Fusion Test Manager will lead critical go-live readiness efforts for a major Oracle Fusion transformation at an educational institution. This role involves overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring that business processes and integrations are validated for live operation. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to define test scenarios and manage defect resolution. The contract is initially for three months with a potential extension, based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Operational Readiness and UAT strategy
  • Review and support the testing of Tribal SITS and Worktribe integrations with Oracle Fusion
  • Coordinate defect identification, triage, and resolution across business and technical teams
  • Collaborate with functional leads and SMEs to define realistic test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Drive simulation or cutover rehearsal activities as part of go-live readiness
  • Ensure quality assurance across all readiness activities with a focus on real-world operational usage

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Readiness Lead on large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion
  • Experience within the Higher Education sector or similar regulated/public institutions preferred
  • Exposure to systems like Tribal SITS or Worktribe highly desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management, defect handling, and business testing experience

Salary (Rate): £65.00/hr

Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm , in their search for an Operational Readiness ORACLE Fusion Test Manager to become an associate contractor and lead critical go-live readiness efforts within a major Oracle Fusion transformation at a Education institution. This is a multi million pound programme focuses on modernising operations and technology platforms using Oracle Fusion, with a key emphasis on integration with existing student and research systems.

Contract Assignment Details:

  • Location : London (Hybrid – occasional on-site as required)
  • Duration : Initial 3 months (with potential extension)
  • Day Rate : Up to £500-550 p/day via Ltd (Outside IR35)

Role Overview:

The Operational Readiness Test Manager will be instrumental in leading UAT and business readiness activities , ensuring that end-to-end business processes and integrations are validated and ready for live operation. A key part of the role is to review and support the testing of integrations between Oracle Fusion and core university platforms including Tribal SITS and Worktribe .

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Readiness Lead on large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion
  • Experience within the Higher Education sector or similar regulated/public institutions preferred
