About Our Client

My client is a central government organisation. They require an experienced PMO Lead to support them in setting up a new programme for a period of 3 months with the potential to extend. This role will be based on-site in Oxfordshire.

Job Description

The successful PMO Lead will:

  • Develop, implement and manage effective governance and assurance approaches across the project - including planning, reporting, risk management, change management, project controls, benefits tracking and financial controls.
  • Lead on the production and maintenance of high quality, timely, accurate and useful project artefacts to inform the management, assurance and effective decision making. This will include managing and owning the project plan, preparing regular reports, visualisation of plans which are clear and accessible for use with a range of stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain competence in project management, including the use of IT enabled tools for schedule and risk management.
