Power BI Engineer

One of my education client is urgently looking for a Power BI Engineer for a 6 month contract outside IR35 based in London. This is a hybrid working role with 2-3 days in the office.

The Power BI Engineer will have:

• Experience working with Power BI and the DAX programming language
• Knowledge of data modelling fundamentals (e.g. Kimball modelling)
• An understanding of performance optimisation in Power BI
• Awareness of Visualisation Best Practices
• Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies
• Strong Excel skills
• A results-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for data
• Exposure to end-to-end report delivery
• Knowledge of the various components of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Platform (specifically Databricks)
• Worked on enterprise-level report development with an understanding of scalable solutions
