Our client, a leading global consultancy are looking for a strategic procurement leader to come and support them internally on a contract basis. They are looking to grow one of their key client offerings and see procurement as a key enabler in driving growth across this key business area for them.
This is a pivotal role's primary focus will be to support our clients strategy and growth ambitions through developing effective supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage preferred supplier framework agreements.
- Evolve their Supplier Ecosystem, identifying and onboarding suppliers in key capability target areas
- Implement a category management approach in selected capability areas.
- Support their Strategic Growth Procurement lead in the execution of bid specific supply chain strategies
- Manage sourcing projects
- Lead the identification of new framework opportunities
- Support and manage supply chain performance reviews
You Should Apply if You:
- Extensive experience in Procurement & Supply Chain roles
- Strong technical procurement skills
- Supplier relationship building skills and performance management
