Role: Product Owner - Data

Type: Inside IR35

Rate: 500- 550 pd

Location: London (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Define, own, and lead the implementation and operation of platforms within the Enterprise Data Teams portfolio.
• Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with user needs, business priorities, and technology direction.
• Understand the business strategy and build strong relationships with end-users and business leaders.
• Drive prioritisation of features and issues based on user needs and business priorities.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive requirements gathering and support change management.
• Identify and specify business and/or technical requirements and ensure systems remain up to date, secure, and upgrades are planned with minimal business impact.
• Own and drive the backlog of features, including analysis, prioritization, and business case creation.
• Contribute to project tasks and milestones; take full ownership of projects when necessary.
• Prepare, obtain approval of, and manage budgets for all aspects of a product's lifecycle.
• Work closely with architects, TDA's, and engineers to define integration requirements.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner/Manager role
• Strong experience in owning data platforms or products
• Strong understanding of Data Governance principles.
• Experience in Master Data Projects or platforms is a must
• Experience in change/adoption management, user support, and training requirements.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels to scope and shape projects and dealing with issues and escalations.
• A demonstrable track record of accomplishing tasks while managing competing pressures and deadlines.
