I am currently partnered with a globally renowned media organisation currently seeking a Programme Manager to support them across a number of projects within their Procure to Pay (P2P) remit. The primary focus will be on the delivery of an in-flight technology implementation project and will include managing the life cycle of this programme and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver the solution effectively.

This organisation is based in Central London and they operate a hybrid working pattern with 2 days per week in the office. This contract will be for an initial 6 months with the strong likelihood of extension. This role will be paying circa 700 per day (inside IR35).

Responsibilities of the P2P (Procure to Pay) Programme Manager include:

  • Working closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to drive the successful implementation of a new vendor management solution
  • Identify key requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors to create Business Requirements Document
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established project goals
  • Ability to drive change and influence within a matrixed and decentralized operating model
  • Development and Maintenance of a Detailed Project Plan and tracking against milestones
  • Implement project related change and manage comms to senior stakeholders working with the comms team

Skills and qualifications that must be held include:

  • Experience in a senior project management/programme management role implementing programmes within Finance Transformation and/or P2P (Procure to Pay)
  • Working knowledge of Procure to Pay processes
  • Programme management skills and experience to hit the ground running including project governance, workstream tracking, and risk management
  • Executive presence, ability to interact with senior executives in a clear and concise way
  • Project related change management insight, outlining, and escalating key needs for communication and training
  • Championing change approaches and comfortable implementing project methodology in a dynamic environment
