Sheridan Maine, in partnership with our esteemed global client, is currently seeking a skilled Project Finance Analyst for a 6-month fixed term contract. This unique opportunity involves working on a critical project following a recent acquisition.
 
This position requires a candidate who can effectively engage with C-suite level individuals, leveraging their experience to work collaboratively with the business in identifying costs and constructively challenging spending decisions.
 
Key duties of the Project Finance Analyst include:
  • Maintenance of undisclosed project budget.
  • Ownership of reporting actual comparisons and monthly movements through change log.
  • Ownership of month end process.
  • Identify stranded and dual-running costs and develop detailed budget and forecast.
  • Own the process of validating monthly TSA invoicing.
  • Liaise with Treasury team in maintaining project cash flow and ensure cash items are recorded accordingly.
  • Deal with ad-hoc requests centred around the project.
 
To be considered for the role of Project Finance Analyst, your skills must include:
  • Studying towards or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with strong financial accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge and provide constructive feedback on financial matters.
  • Ability to assess risk and develop mitigation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
