Job Description: The Project Manager role focuses on leading sustainability initiatives for a UK-leading pharmaceutical client, emphasizing project leadership and process ownership. This position requires engaging cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide sustainability transformation. The role is high-visibility and involves shaping sustainable practices across various business units. The contract is for 12 months and is based in Macclesfield, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-wide sustainability projects (e.g. smart metering, natural resource fund).
- Own and improve core sustainability processes using a BPM approach.
- Engage cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Drive value delivery, risk management, and compliance across initiatives.
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years’+ project management experience.
- Previously managed large sustainability projects.
- Predominantly worked for large, ideally global, organisations.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Salary (Rate): £450/day

You’ll be at the forefront of embedding sustainable practices across business units, shaping both internal operations and external partnerships.
