Contract Length: 3 months initially

Pay Rate to Intermediary: 208.72 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Project Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER

• To plan, implement and manage projects as required by the Assistant Director of Informatics (Portfolio).


• To manage business change through the implementation of technology, enabling tangible business benefit.


• To manage concurrent, complex inter-related organisational/cross organisational IT projects to deliver the agreed goals and objectives, time, cost, and quality parameters as well as stakeholder and user expectations.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER

• Educated to degree level or higher or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent experience


• PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent experience


• Evidence of continuing professional development


• Competent with software packages e.g., MS Project, Vision etc.


• Experience of managing complex projects to time and to budget to PRINCE 2 standards


• Experience of change management, workforce and service re[1]design processes and methods acquired through training or experience


• Experience of working with groups of staff across a range of organisations


• Knowledge of a range of IM&T project areas for example new patient administration, order communication systems, e-prescribing etc
