Role: Quality Engineer

Contract: 12+ months

Location: Whetstone

IR35: Inside

Our Client has a requirement for a Quality Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Whetstone.

Role Purpose

Quality Control is a role discipline containing roles which focus on the activities and techniques used to assure the product and service output meet the defined and agreed requirements, including NDT and NDE.

Job Role Responsibilities

Advanced and specialised expertise in technical, operational or analytical processes are required, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience in order to complete more complex assignments and propose process improvements. Will exercise judgement to identify and resolve problems by analysing possible solutions using experience and developed expertise, often in situations with little of no precedent. Likely to facilitate the work activities of others and may coordinate work beyond own team. Will impact on the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams. Exchanging ideas and job-specific information effectively is important.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

A Quality Controller is an advanced-level technical/operational role in the Quality Control discipline of the Quality role family. This role undertakes complex technical or operating activities within this discipline. Requires specialised skills and training (at NVQ / SVQ level 3 or greater) and will work under a limited degree of supervision from a Front Line Manager to complete non-routine tasks and activities. May act as an informal resource for junior colleagues.
