Sellick Partnership have been engaged to work with one our key Housing Association based clients in the East of England, to join their team on a 6 month contract as an Accountant. Reporting into the Service Manager and Business Partnering manager; you will be an integrated member of the team and provide accurate, insightful and forward-thinking financial analysis.

You will be a pro-active partner, working with budget holders and other finance staff, understanding their needs and challenging and supporting decision making.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts
• Respinsible for Year End accounting
• Support the Service Manager with Year End reporting

• Responsible for producing accurate, timely and insightful financial and non-financial reports and financial analysis
• Act as a key point of contact to the business for financial queries, supporting to proactively resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

• Support the production of quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory accounts and reports as required.

Essential criteria of the Accountant:

• Experience in the Housing Association Sector
• Year End Accounts experience
• Ability to manage effective and professional internal customer relationships
• CCAB Qualified Accountant (or equivalent).
