Non Stop care are working with a well established authority in the South East who are looking for a Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)to join their mental health service. This is a non-caseholding, remote working role which pays up to 46/hr.

The vacancy is a non-case holding role, in the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Hub, that supports the AMHP rota predominately during the working week.

The AMHP role is pivotal to ensure that our Local Authority's statutory duty to facilitate timely Mental Health Act assessments is fulfilled and that a strong social perspective is enabled in all assessments undertaken. You will help identify alternatives to compulsory admissions under the Mental Health Act, working across local services to support patients and their families.

Requirements

The role requires a recognised social work qualification and relevant post-qualification experience and knowledge as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
