Business Analyst - Cutover
Type: Contract
Duration: Initial 3 months
Location: Remote working with some travel to Manchester
Daily Rate: Up to 475 per day
 
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Cutover to join our team on a remote working basis with occasional travel to Manchester. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and executing activities to ensure successful project delivery within specified deadlines. This is an initial 3-month contract with a competitive daily rate of up to 475.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in project activities, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring effective planning and execution of cutover activities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and contribute to successful project outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork in a remote working environment, fostering collaboration through various communication channels (face-to-face, online, telephone).
  • Communicate effectively across all mediums, producing and presenting materials tailored to different audiences.
Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the Public sector landscape.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong experience in crafting and refining Stories and Acceptance Criteria/Conditions of Satisfaction, focusing on technical and job stories rather than end-user stories.
  • Capability in describing Needs, Value/Benefit, Consumers, Sources, and Priority.
  • Expertise in Story Mapping, Data Mapping, Data Flow Mapping, Process Mapping.
  • Proficient in conducting workshops, interviews, focus groups, and surveys as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Cutover activities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
  • Excellent communication skills across various mediums.
  • Willingness to travel to Manchester as required.
