p>We are looking to onboard a Business Change Lead to join a Central Government Organisation to support the Change Adoption Manager overseeing three major contract pretenders. The Change Lead will provide oversight and guidance for these programmes by ensuring plans are achievable, on-time delivery and upholding the high standards of the organisation.
You will work alongside a network of business-facing teams and within a broader team of communications, training, and continuous improvement experts. You will be the change expert advising and guiding external resources to design and deliver change management plans, identify issues/risks, tackle resistance, and deliver to the programme's timescales.

You will:
- Oversee teams of external contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality change management across the Organisation within agreed timescales.
- Ensure that all change planning and delivery is aligned to change frameworks and tailored to our business/user needs.
- Define change objectives, how they will be measured and ensure they are realised, working closely with project managers and contractors.
- Identify risks and opportunities with key stakeholders and colleagues in the team and ALBs and make sure these are factored into plans.
- Support the Organisation/'s colleagues to understand how changes to our technology and services fit together, and how they get the most out of the tools and training available to them.
- Regularly report on change readiness, progress towards achievement of outcomes and the realisation of benefits.
- Participate in post-project evaluation; prepare lessons learnt reports and propose any follow-on recommendations.
Required experience:
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering change in a fast-paced environment and with degrees of ambiguity.
- Experience of working with contractors to deliver results.
- Excellent communication skills, able to listen to, understand and advise on requirements as well as clearly articulating messages both in a technical and non-technical environment.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Strong stakeholder analysis and management skills.
- The ability to develop links across teams and build networks to deliver on your behalf.
- Central Government/Public Sector experience is desirable.
Rate: Up to 550 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 8 months initially
