Location: Remote with travel to site locations (north of M25)

Interim Contract: 6 months on-going

Rate: Competitive day rate + travel expenses

• You will provide technical expertise in Control and Instrumentation Systems across the project life cycle from feasibility, through design, project management and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage projects.
• Provide C&I technical guidance and recommendations on design for Battery Energy Storage and Solar PV systems.
• Create high-quality design specifications, schematics, and wiring instructions specific to each project.
• Project manage sub-contractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Review client technical project proposals and employer's requirements.
• Support project development bids/tenders' team to prepare technical scopes and cost estimates for control systems.
• Provide technical support to clients and electrical subcontractors, to facilitate high quality installation work.

Skills Required:

• C&I Engineering discipline knowledge and experience.
• Proficiency in industry standards for Control Systems.
• Knowledge and experience in SCADA systems.
• Understanding of Power Generation technologies, ideally renewable or distributed energy.
• Expertise in Battery Energy Storage systems and or Solar PV.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure alignment between design and construction and operational teams.
