p>Our client, a boutique technology law firm in London, is looking to engage a corporate Lawyer on a consultancy basis. The engagement can be fully remote and non-exclusive to form part of a portfolio, fractional legal counsel, career.

The firm works with startups and scaleups through to market leading organisations on a unique basis, blending private practice with in-house. Each Lawyer and consultant Lawyer sits as in-house Legal Counsel for a range of clients, generally VC-backed, high growth businesses.

The client base spans the full breadth of the UK and European tech scene to include Fintechs, Edtechs, Insuretechs and significant data providers. The firm applies a human and frictionless approach.

The successful corporate consultant can expect to advise clients on a full range of corporate matters, but with a particular emphasis on SME focused advice and funding rounds.

Successful consultants will likely be able to demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• Possess upwards of 5 years experience in handling corporate matters for SME clients
• A strong background obtained in private practice or in-house legal teams
• Experience and comfort in advising SME clients on funding rounds
• A keen eye for detail
• Capacity to commit to 15-20 hours or upwards per week
• A genuine interest and ability to work as a consultant.
