We're seeking an enthusiastic professional to join the Data Team with our Consultancy client for an initial 6 month contract. This will be remote with very occasional travel to either their London or Newcastle office. The role is Outside IR35 and Financial Services sector experience is preferred!

Key Responsibilities:

Query Building Expertise:

• Craft efficient queries, views, and tables to extract valuable information from diverse datasets.

BI Reporting Design:

• Develop and implement cutting-edge BI reporting designs that enhance data visualization and decision-making processes.

Power BI Mastery:

• Showcase your proficiency in building reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring a seamless user experience.

SQL Database Skills:

• Utilize your advanced skills in SQL and MySQL to manage and optimize databases effectively.

Programming Language Proficiency:

• Bring your experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or R to the table, contributing to the versatility of our tech stack.

Azure DevOps (Desirable):

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus, showcasing your adaptability to modern development and collaboration tools.

Data Backup, Recovery, and Storage:

• Demonstrate your expertise in data backup, recovery, and storage, ensuring the integrity and security of our valuable information.

Agile Environment Enthusiast:

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building queries, views, tables, and visualizations.
• Strong Power BI skills, including administration.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and MySQL.
• Programming language experience (Python, Java, C#, R).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is desirable.
• Expertise in data backup, recovery, and storage.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
