Data Engineer - Insurance

We are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer with Insurance Industry experience to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month initial contract, remote working.

Please note this role is Inside IR35.

You will support the team with on-going changes to our clients legacy warehouse as well as the development of our clients new strategic data platform built in Azure.You will have a background in data warehouse development, data ingestion and integration, designing and implementing ETL pipelines and ideally some data modelling experience. Technical Skills Required:

• Data engineering using Microsoft technologies:
  • SQL Server
  • T-SQL
  • Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Power BI
• Experience working in an Agile DevOps environment.
• Previous experience with Azure technologies (Data Factory, Data Lake, Data bricks) or in cloud migrations would be an advantage.
