Job Description

I'm working alongside a medium sized consultancy that support over 40 Police departments across the UK, as well the Home Office on Boarder Force projects. The Head of Data & Analytics has his hands full which means he is going to be looking for additional support to assist on various projects for different police institutes. Part of this role will be to support improving manual processes, automating everything via Power BI and Azure. There will be times when the work wont be planned too far in advance, with sudden issues/requests coming in from specific departments.

Start Date: 15/01/2024 (pending)

Rate: 500 - 550 (outside IR35)

Working Conditions: Remote (odd travel)

Role Requirements

• Active NPPV2/3 security clearance
• Active SC Clearance (desirable, not essential)
• Experience with fabric, Azure cloud, Power Apps & associated technologies
• Experience with Master Data Management
• Carried out Data Governance work previously
• Previously worked for organisations within the public sector, the Police Force would be great
• Strong skills working with Power BI
• Strong with building ETL pipelines
• Happy to liaise with customers and identify issues whilst coming up with solutions
• Strong SQL skills
• Worked with new Fabric (Microsoft) in a non-commerical environemt/personal project (desirable)
• Proven experience automating manual proccess
• Beneifcal to have worked with technologies associated with the Azure stack. Databricks, Fabric etc.
