The successful candidate will utilise their excellent communication skills and significant experience in the field of Data & AI solutions to work closely with senior stakeholders in the defence sector, setting the direction of a greenfield the project from discovery to delivery.

Assisting in developing bespoke underwater simulation tools in order to:
- Generate synthetic data
- Assist in the generation of future underwater capability evidence
- Wrangle, clean up and make ready underwater data sets for use in the test harness
- Assisting in developing specific underwater acoustic data formats and standards
- Catalogue and label underwater acoustic data sets, and timeseries
- Apply MLOps to data for sonar data processing
We want someone who enjoys a challenge and is keen to develop on existing knowledge and deliver quality outputs. The successful candidate must have:
- Familiarity with big data, and time series data
- Familiarity with data wrangling, data cataloguing/labelling, and data quality
- checks
- Familiarity with MATLAB, or R
- Ability to code in Python and/or C++
- Due to the nature of this work, candidates must have active SC clearance, preferably DV clearance
- Duration: 6 months (with significant opportunity to extend)
- Rate Profile: £550/day
- IR35 Status: Outside
- Location: Remote / 2 days per week spent on client site on the South Coast
