DevOps Engineer with Bitbucket & Docker experience

Rate: up to 450 per day, outside IR35

Location of work: This role can be performed remotely, and can be done part time or full time.

Contract length: 2 weeks initially (if full time hours are worked)

The role: An electronics/ embedded systems business require a DevOps Engineer with excellent Bitbucket and Docker experience to join them for a short term project.

You will be responsible for migrating to the latest Bitbucket Data Center version, and creating Docker containers for tools.

You will also be required to produce documentation on the setup and how to maintain.

There is potential for a future project to migrate from Bitbucket Data Center to Bitbucket Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Migrate to the most recent Bitbucket Data Center version and move to a new server (from a local server to an Azure based cloud server. This is already set up and waiting)
• Currently on Bitbucket Data Center but needs upgrading to latest (current version is from 2016 - 4.7.2)
• Create Docker containers for each component:
• Data center
• SQL
• Reverse proxy - direct to a different port
• Composed scripts to help with this are available
• Use Atlassian script to sync file system and database

Skills required:

• Bitbucket
• Docker
• Git
• Jenkins (desirable, not essential)
