Synergize Consulting have an exciting contract opportunity to work with our client who are a Global IT consulting company.
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
- Start Date: 26/02/2024
- Duration: 12 months
- Clearance required: Active SC (preferably already held with Home Office)
- Location: Remote with occasional travel to Croydon (couple of days per month).
- Sector: Public

Job Description:
This role is primarily an Engineering role with some Operational responsibility within the operating model.
Key skills for engineering are as follows:
Development and Deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform IaC
Build and management of Jenkins CD Pipelines
Strong DevOps experience with following AWS technologies
o EC2
o EKS (Kubernetes)
o RDS
o Route 53
o VPC networking
o S3
Experience with the following DevOps tools/practices
o Jenkins
o Git
o CI/CD
o Docker
o Helm
Understanding of management and implementation of security policies eg IAM, encryption, network security
Other desirable skills include:
Experience with Front End Scripting languages such as Java and Python
Experience with other areas of the product life cycle such as requirements gathering, service design, etc.
Experience with configuration of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.
