Lucid Connect are working with an award-winning, IT consulting and managed services business, specialising in modern, software-defined networking, security and communications technologies, delivering innovative solutions and services to major organisations right across the globe.
The Senior Full Stack Architect will be responsible for the development of a range of, primarily web based tools, providing services to our client's end customers and internal tooling focused on business optimization.
Working within a small cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development lifecycle. You will use a range of different technologies and languages such as Python, JavaScript (React, TypeScript), HTML, CSS, Python, MySQL) and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) to develop and deliver these applications.
Though expertise and experience across both front and Back End is required, this role requires significant expertise and experience particularly with Python and React.
Their service portfolio ranges from consulting strategies and assessments through to solution design, deployment and fully managed services, incorporating market-leading technologies in each of their specialist areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software
- Write clean, functional code and unit tests on the front- and back-end
- Peer reviewing and improving the code of other developers in the team
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
- Architecting Cloud Infrastructure to provide secure web services
- Work with development teams and product managers to create software solutions
- Build the Front End of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop, design and manage databases and applications
Essential Requirements
- Proven 10+ year experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Python and React
- Understanding of best practices for user experience
- Experience of designing, developing, deploying desktop and mobile applications
- Experience of implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with common Front End development tools such as, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, etc
- UI/UX design
- Understanding of W3C standards and general design principles
- Experience of working with version control: GIT or similar
- Knowledge of Back End architectures and languages in particular Python.
- Familiarity with databases, in particular SQL
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- A flexible, can do attitude
- Flexibility to attend the Leeds or London office at least once a month.
Beneficial
- Knowledge and experience of Flask or Django would be advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience of Google Cloud Platform would be advantageous.
- Experience of using Figma would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience with Docker would be beneficial
