Job Description: The Google Workspace (GWS) Specialist / Consultant role involves leading implementation and migration projects for Google Workspace within a cloud-focused consultancy. The position requires expertise in GWS, client-facing consulting, and integration with other cloud platforms. The consultant will also provide training and support for clients while ensuring best practices are followed. This is a remote position with monthly client site visits and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading GWS implementation and migration projects
- Advising clients on GWS best practices and adoption strategy
- Integrating GWS with other cloud/SaaS platforms
- Running workshops and delivering end-user training
- Supporting presales activities and client scoping sessions
Skills Required:
- Proven expertise in Google Workspace (G Suite) deployments
- Strong experience in email/domain migrations (e.g. Exchange to GWS)
- Comfortable with client-facing consulting and stakeholder management
- Experience integrating GWS with tools like Okta, Azure AD, or M365
- Understanding of security, compliance, and data governance in GWS environments
- GWS certifications (e.g. Google Workspace Administrator) - bonus
- Scripting knowledge (e.g. Apps Script, PowerShell, Python) - bonus
- Broader cloud experience (e.g. GCP, AWS, or Azure) - bonus
