Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Applications Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT applications and infrastructure projects as part of a transformation programme. Working closely with multiple providers, you will ensure the successful implementation of change requests and deliver high-quality solutions. This is a remote position with the possibility of occasional travel to client sites.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and applications projects, from initiation to closure.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.

- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that all tasks are delivered on time and within budget.

- Coordinate resources and allocate tasks to team members to ensure optimal project execution.

- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing appropriate contingency plans.

- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.

- Foster strong working relationships with internal and external teams to facilitate effective project delivery.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Manager within the banking sector.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure and applications projects.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practises.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Willingness to travel to client sites on an occasional basis.
