Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector organisation in Manchester to recruit an IT Procurement Manager. The role can be fully remote and will be for an initial 3-month contract with opportunity for extension.

Role: 

• Manage the ICT category on a strategic level


• Lead on tendering exercises, ensuring full compliance with public contract regulations and organisational policies/procedures


• Utilise frameworks for direct awards and mini competitions


• Liaise with senior level stakeholders


• Proactively develop and maintain specialist category knowledge and have an awareness of constantly changing markets


• Identify opportunities for cost savings

Person:

• Direct experience in IT category is essential


• Previous experience in the Public Sector


• Has previously operated at a strategic level in procurement


• Strong stakeholder management experience
