A logistics and freight business is looking to bring on an IT Programme Manager to oversee multiple new system implementations during 2024. 

There is a combination of bespoke and off the shelf products that are about to be implemented, being purchased from different vendors, and a consultant is needed to oversee the process across the different systems. 

Responsibilities

• As the main point of contact for external vendors, you will be managing the external relations and ensuring a smooth process to implement these new systems, being able to translate commercial objectives into technical requirements. 
• Manage the backlog of ticket requests, as the product testing produces new development requirements. Ensuring all tickets are appropriately logged and followed up in a timely manner. 
• Interfacing across many internal teams, you will work with the relevant teams using the new systems, understanding their pain points throughout the process, and being able to efficiently and effectively find solutions. 

Requirements

• Previous management of IT system implementation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
