A good client of mine in the consulting space are currently looking to hire a Java Developer on a 3 month initial contract working for a large banking client.

Understand and translate the requirements from specifications to actual technical model and further breakdown it into low level specifications.
Coordinate with the testing team to understand and analyse the defects to close them and to ensure proper RCA is being carried out for the production defects.
Support junior developers, providing training and support as and wherever necessary
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Maintain the inventory of the SIT and UAT Servers and ensure that build is deployed as per the requirement from the stakeholders.
Understand business strategy and deliver solutions to meet the stakeholder expectations
Develop software architecture design and support development team in implementing the proposed solutions.

Mandatory skills:
Good experience in Developing User Interfaces & UX using any JS framework like DOJO etc.
Extensive experience in developing Business layer, Validation, Database Integration using Spring Framework, Java Technologies.

Desired/Secondary skills:
Experience of working in an Agile & DevOps development process
Ability to work autonomously under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising work in a multi-client environment where demand exceeds supply and resolving the conflicts that resu
Highly disciplined approach to documentation standards, including version control management
A good working knowledge of Microservices architecture, Spring Boot
Proficient in Spring Framework. Should be able to do project setup using Spring Boot and Angular
Experienced in building and deploying applications using CI/CD pipeline
Proven ability to prioritise workload effectively in line with business priorities;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Good process analysis and problem solving skills;
