Role

• Lead a data engineering team spread over multiple cross functional Data Feature teams organising the allocation of the team based on skillset and capacity Responsible for leading the business engagement with client stakeholders from a data engineering perspective, helping to define and triage data solutions Responsible for working closely with the client Lead Data Engineer to maintain alignment in data engineering patterns Responsible for attending programme and project planning, RAID and reporting meetings to provide a collate data engineering voice.
• Developing the ETL tool and directing the team towards CI/CD Creating new and maintaining existing data pipelines, bringing raw data through to the front end.
• Design and developing the logical and physical data models of data solutions

Skills required

• Experience of leading technical teams and ideally 5+ years of engineering experience, and have worked with AWS Strong programming skills (SQL, Python, Java), understand database systems, know big data technologies, data modelling, data visualisation, building & maintaining ETL processes, leadership and stakeholder management Responsible for setting data engineering standards and completing code reviews
