Role Title; Lead Data Engineer

Location; Fully Remote

Day Rate; 600 Inside IR35.

Length; 3.5 Months (potential to extend)

Data Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines to efficiently ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Leverage your Python expertise to write efficient and maintainable code for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
• Craft intricate SQL queries to interact with relational databases and retrieve the data that fuels our insights.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Stay on top of the latest data engineering trends and technologies,

Data Engineer Experience:

• Experience working within the NHS or Public Sector.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, your tools of the trade.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies, the foundation for efficient data storage.
• A strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices, ensuring the integrity of your work.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, to untangle complex data challenges.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, to work seamlessly with various teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, for scalable data solutions.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, to bring your insights to life.
