You will join a global IT consultancy, who are bringing digital transformation to the MoD. They are looking for a skilled Microsoft Service Engineer to support the implementation of Private Cloud services, specifically Microsoft Azure Stack Hub (MASH). This contract role, based in Corsham, requires a dedicated professional with expertise in cloud infrastructure and IT service management.

Office/WFH:

You will need to attend site 5 days a week. There is no remote working

Clearance:

You will hold current, active DV Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Support the Azure Stack Hub (MASH) environment
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance
• Conduct capacity management, network management, backup, health and security monitoring, and patching/updates
• Resolve incidents and problems promptly
• Contribute to ongoing support and development of the cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

• ITIL-based service management experience
• Proficiency in MS SCOM and Azure solutions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-facing experience in incident and problem resolution
• Knowledge of UK Government Security Classifications
• Familiarity with Public and Private Cloud Concepts (BGP, NSG, SDN)
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA & Confluence, Windows Defender, backup solutions, SharePoint/MOSS, and Firewall management
