p> This position is working for a growing Data consultancy and offers fully remote working.The organisation offer a range of database consultancy services including implementation, performance tuning and migrations. This position is work as a PostgreSQL DBA to support several database clusters. You will be responsible for performance monitoring, planning and tuning, as well as capacity planning and installation/configuration of systems. The main project is a migration, so any knowledge of migrations from Oracle to EDB would be useful. In terms of skills and experience you will need a background as a PostgreSQL DBA with good experience of working in high availability environments. You will also need automation experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or Bamboo. Any experience with Openstack, MySQL, MongoDB or Cassandra would be beneficial. This position will allow you to work from home anywhere in the UK or Europe for the full duration of the contract.
