The Product Manager is a pivotal role responsible for understanding and aligning customer needs with organisational goals to deliver products at the right time. This role encompasses a comprehensive range of responsibilities, from maintaining strong communication channels with customers and stakeholders to acting as the Voice of the Customer within the agile development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer-Centric Engagement: Regularly engage with customers and stakeholders to gain in-depth insights into their wants, needs, pain points, and problems. Act as the Voice of the Customer in the development process.
• Requirements Management: Collaborate with the customer and the agile scrum team to understand, validate, define, and prioritize requirements. Present committed requirements to the scrum team and represent them as user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Value Delivery: Work closely with the scrum team to maximize the value of delivery increments. Contribute to the development and delivery of a roadmap aligned with validated customer requirements.
• Backlog Prioritization: Take ownership of managing and prioritizing the Product backlog, ensuring a balance between delivering business benefits and responding to end user needs.
• Agile Team Collaboration: Act as a key member of the agile delivery team, adapting, challenging, reflecting, and improving ways of working. Ensure the timely and regular delivery of valuable increments aligned with the Product roadmap.
• Product and Marketplace Understanding: Gain a high-level knowledge of the product(s) and the marketplace it occupies. Monitor product performance in relation to customer expectations using feedback, analytics, and performance measures.

• Product Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager.
• Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies with the ability to quickly adapt to the clients development process.
• Results-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver successfully to deadlines, make informed decisions, and handle calculated risks or escalate issues when necessary.
• Analytical Skills: Practical experience in researching and analysing information to create and execute plans effectively.
• Collaborative Approach: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team to achieve objectives.
• Product Familiarity: Capability to quickly grasp an understanding of the clients products and their significance to customers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent spoken, written, and listening skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different stakeholders across various organizational functions, including Business, Operations, Technology, and Science.
