Location: Remote (Cardiff or Bristol) must be open to travel to London one day a month.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our IT Project Delivery team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of IT transformation projects within the organization. The successful candidate will be experienced in developing strategy, delivering the end-to-end delivery of transformation projects and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the project goals are met, within budget and aligned to KPIs. Preferably someone with Professional Services or Financial Services sector.

Deliverables: Responsibilities but not limited to:

You will manage the full project lifecycle, working with the division to initiate, define and deliver business facing IT projects and new services that comply with the agreed project processes and standards to deliver both the user experience, business needs and objectives.

  • Project Management - Delivery of the full lifecycle of projects assigned either via agile or waterfall methodology. Manage the project budget, risks, actions and issues.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Monitor and report on the progress of project management activities to stakeholders and governance stakeholder groups.

Your experience / Background / Core Skills

  • Must have technical experience of managing full end-to-end delivery of business change projects including software development and integration projects.
  • Nintex experience (for automating business processes) is preferable.
  • Experience of IT business change and leading a transformation technology project in HR transformation. Understand the strategy, organisational transformation and cultural change.
  • Experience of moving a legacy system (software application) onto new systems; work with architects, manage business process and translate requirements into new system.
  • Experience of Agile and Waterfall methodology
  • Experience of Data Management and systems integration.
  • Stakeholder management is key Experience of communicating and influencing senior leaders (COO, CTO level). Gain respect and trust, ensuring you understand the vision and provide direction.
  • Communication skills interpret and clearly communicate the technical requirements, solutions and recommendation to all stakeholders. Provide weekly reporting on project status and KPIs. Communicate risk and issues with partners.
  • Presentation skills Succinctly present information to the right audience at the right time
  • Skilled Planner Sequencing the development, rollout and go-live is key in this project. You will also need to be able to communicate the reasoning behind the plan.
  • Quick learner This project has complex history, it s ongoing and will require someone to be able to lead and deliver success.
  • Team and supplier management - Managing complex workstreams, internal and external suppliers. Ensure that all of the team have a clear vision of what is needed and when.

Desirable

  • Learning/ HR platforms: SBX / Canvas experience is preferable
