SAP Data Lead
Contract: January - July
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester
Pay: Up to 645 per day - via Umbrella (inside IR35)

Candidates must either hold active SC clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the clearance process.

Interview Stages - 1st & 2nd Stages with Capgemini 3rd stage end client

  • Lead and perform data migration activities from legacy systems, including SAP ECC6 and non-SAP systems, to SAP S/4HANA FTM, PTP, PS and BW.
  • Mapping of data fields to target system, validating required fields and formatting.
  • Advise client business process leads and data object owners on completing data object templates.
  • Working with the client in data quality, profiling, cleansing and data harmonisation
  • Monitor and advise client on data cleansing progress by extracting data and updating tracking templates.
  • Collaboration with integration team to include data requirements for interfaces.
  • Designing an appropriate data migration solution, Create data migration strategy and Technical Specification documents
  • Building, testing, executing, and managing data migration solution utilising tools such SAP Data Services, IDOCS, BAPI, LSMW and SAP Migration cockpit
  • Perform data migration dress rehearsals (mock loads), migration cutover tasks and post go-live support.
  • Experience in data analysis and reconciliation, Experience with mock loads and cutover planning and preparation of data migration tasks.
  • Working with SAP functional consultants analysing data migration requirements
  • Report to Capgemini data leads and present the status and escalate delays as identified


Qualifications:

  • Data migration project experience with a lead role for a complex migration across c. 20 company codes and 25 data objects. (At least 5 full SAP Data Migration cycles)
  • Minimum three full migration experience from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including the referenced modules.
  • Well experienced in SAP Data Services, IDOCS, BAPI, LSMW and SAP Migration cockpit.
  • Solid expertise with SAP BODS Transformations.
  • Knowledge of Data Quality, Profiling and Cleansing, Data harmonization
  • Knowledge on the SAP Best Practices for Data Migrations
  • Good communication and consulting skills with business facing consulting capability
