As a Data Quality Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- Understand complex business processes and convert into simple steps which can then be modelled using IDMC tools.
- Provide technical leadership on the evaluation, adoption and implementation of new digital technologies.
- Responsibility for the technical documentation of bespoke software and configurations.
- Responsibility for the technical implementation of version control, CI/CD and any Azure configurations.
- Model complex ETL's made in CDI into data catalogues and apply business dictionaries and processes.
- Lead on the technical definition and maintenance of the technical standards for data governance.
You will have:
- SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks
- Expert knowledge of the IDMC tool - Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services specifically DQ, DC, DM & DG.
- Expert knowledge of data warehouse architectures, Data modelling techniques.
- The development, design and technical implementation of business applications using out of the box components, with specific regard to integration of 3rd party and in-house components.
- Effective communication skills, able to communicate in writing and verbally effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, ability to understand business drivers and influence how changes are implemented.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams.
- Basic SQL.
- Implementing business processes and rules to encourage and promote data governance within UKEF.
- Experience of developing and working in an Agile environment.
