Scrum Master - Contract - Outside IR35 - Remote


My client, an innovative IT Consultancy, are looking for a Scrum Master for a lucrative end client.


Experience


Certified Scrum Master with experience of managing the delivery of complex development projects in the cloud, predominantly AWS

Extensive experience in successfully managing the delivery of complex technical IT projects, to timescale and budget across a variety of sectors during the last 10-15yrs, last 5 years on AWS

Effective communicator in articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences, facilitating clear understanding between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and non-technical personnel.

Experience of the software development lifecycle, using code repos and branching methodologies

Experience of managing large problem solving, designing, planning workshops using collaboration tools.

Seasoned IT professional with solid experience (10yrs+) and a background of hands-on technical experience in a variety of IT roles, especially development and DevOps.

Expert in project planning and tools, resourcing and estimating phases, especially when exact customer requirements aren t fully defined

Ability to utilise a variety of project delivery methodologies and be pragmatic and flexible during delivery execution

Analytical, consultative, problem-solving mindset, and an influential personality capable of quickly building rapport and credibility with teams.

Available immediately.


Nice To Have Requirements


Exposure to Healthcare life sciences and genomics bioinformatics is nice to have.

AWS Certified

Experience of software development or DevOps hands on role.


Skills & qualifications


Scrum/Kanban/(SaFE) Certified

Experienced in Atlassian tool set for Agile delivery, Slack & Teams, usage of Confluence macros, integration with Jira

Experienced in working with the major cloud providers, especially AWS

Resource management, budget setting and tracking

Formal governance board reporting and presentation skills

Stakeholder management and dedication to customer satisfaction Ability to identify upcoming future blockers and risks to project delivery and organise resolution in line with customer governance and procedures


Cultural


Self-starter who can work from objectives

Team player who can share and collaborate within the team and across suppliers/customers

Able to work on multiple projects at once, so time management and documentation are essential.
