Security Architect required for market-leading financial services firm. The role will be centred around solutions design and implementation of IBM Safguarded Copy (a protection mechanism for data).


Responsibilities



  • Designing and overseeing the implementation of IBM Storage solutions and especially the design of Safeguarded copy data protection solutions

  • Analysis and solution design including Safeguarded Copy capacity sizing and performance modelling.

  • Create detailed solution design for in a mainframe environment based on defined requirements

  • Verify that existing and planned systems can fulfil requirements

  • Estimate required Safeguarded Copy physical capacity

  • Verify systems can handle client workload plus additional workload caused by Safeguarded Copy

  • Assist with the configuration of the new DS8000 storage and implementation of Safeguarded Copy based on the agreed solution design


As an ideal candidate, you will have an industry certification such as CISSP/CISM/CRISC and SABSA/TOGAF and have expert knowledge of Security Architecture & IBM Storage solutions. You will also have a proven track record of delivering IBM Safguarded Copy in a similar role.
