South Coast (flexible and remote options will to be considered)

75,000 - 90,000 D.O.E

March 2024 start

Senior Legal Counsel is required to join a leading motor insurance company on a Fixed term contract for a period of 9 months with the potential to further extend from there.

You will have previous in-house legal experience ideally focused around commercial contracts and regulatory experience within products. Candidates with experience in Financial Services is highly beneficial however our client is happy to consider candidates with commercial experience and those who have experience of launching new products in another industry.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team which consists of 5 lawyers mainly with commercial and regulatory experience.

The role;

  • Drafting a range of commercial contracts which include supplier agreements, insurance distribution agreements, brand protection, advertising, data agreements and IT related contracts.
  • Supporting the Senior Leadership of the business on commercial strategic projects across the business.
  • Supporting on regulatory matters as part of a wider legal team to the business.

It has expanded its services from motor insurance into home and content insurance and is currently in the process of expanding further some new product ventures and has significant growth plans for 2024. This company is highly innovative with new technology to deliver its services to its customers.

The role requires a March start ideally due to a maternity cover and candidates with short notice or immediate availability are strongly encouraged to apply.
