Job Description: The Social Value Manager will be responsible for implementing Social Value strategies for a major construction project in the Inverness and Aberdeenshire regions. This role involves engaging with community stakeholders, developing communication plans, and driving employee participation in CSR initiatives. The manager will also coordinate Social Value activities in accordance with the National TOMS framework and foster partnerships with local businesses and educational institutions. The position requires regional travel and a strong connection to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of Social Value strategies aligned with project goals and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders and local authorities.
  • Co-develop Social Value and Communication plans in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Drive employee participation in CSR initiatives focusing on education, the environment, and community engagement.
  • Coordinate and report Social Value activity in line with the National TOMS framework for annual evaluation.
  • Create case studies and share success stories and best practices across project teams.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with suppliers and local businesses, supporting regional supply chain inclusion.
  • Research and engage with local skills groups, schools, and STEM networks to create impactful programs.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in delivering Social Value or CSR in a project-based environment.

  • Digital proficiency, particularly with MS Office and STEM engagement tools.
  • Familiarity with local authority or education sector environments.

  • Full UK driver’s license and willingness to travel across project sites.
